Theatre Company and/or Visiting Artist Workshops for Schools

Simply Shakespeare is available to work along side Theatre Company or School directors and teachers, and will provide customized workshops and lectures that provide performers and/or students with the skills needed to trust the visceral and kinesthetic responses to language, and to actualize the text. Modern-type-faced First Folio texts, as well as supporting materials are provided as needed.

Simply Shakespeare is also available to  "verse-nurse" a seasonal production.  "Verse-nursing" is one of the teaching methods used in Simply Shakespeare Workshops and Coaching. Created by Patrick Tucker (former director of England's Royal Shakespeare Company and founder of Original Shakespeare Company), it is purely an exploration of text both vocally and physically. It does not mean directing an actor nor is it about offering line-readings. A "verse-nurse" facilitates and aids an artist in creating memorable characters by continually pointing up the clues in the text and encouraging the artist to explore and make bold choices based upon the text.
